Upper Primary (Grades 3–6)

This stage strengthens academic foundations while encouraging independence, problem-solving, and self-confidence in learners.

About the Program

The Upper Primary years, 4 to 6, are a vital stage in your child’s learning journey, where growing independence, deeper thinking, and increased responsibility take centre stage. As students build on the solid foundations of Lower Primary, they are guided through a more advanced and engaging curriculum aligned with the British National Curriculum, which prepares them academically, socially, and emotionally for the transition to Secondary School. With a focus on developing critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and leadership skills, our teaching encourages students to take greater ownership of their learning while still receiving the individual care and attention they need to thrive.

Core subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science are taught with increasing depth, while students also benefit from a rich curriculum that includes Arabic Language, Islamic Studies, and Qatar History—ensuring they stay connected to their language, faith, and cultural identity. These subjects are thoughtfully integrated to support a well-rounded, holistic education that respects local values while promoting global awareness. During these years, we also place emphasis on building character, digital literacy, and effective study habits, laying the groundwork for a confident and seamless transition into the challenges and opportunities of Secondary education.
